The Centre for Environment, Agricultural Research and Advocacy (CEARA) is a non government organisation established in Botswana in 2016 to promote inclusive sustainable agricultural prosperity and environmental health among all stakeholders through comprehensive value chain approach by conducting research, advocacy, capacity building and communication. This is to optimise the impact of the agricultural sector across its value chain. The value approach is focused on ensuring better interaction, knowledge transfer, trade, financing, and partnerships among various actors in a product value chain; such as suppliers, producers, processors, traders, and logistics providers.
MISSION
To promote inclusive sustainable agricultural prosperity and environmental health among all stakeholders through comprehensive value chain approach by conducting policy research, advocacy, capacity building and communication.
CEARA VISION
Is empowering all agricultural value chain players to prosper by capacitating them to creatively pursue their own path towards achieving food security and diversity, economic stability, in productive healthy environments.
